Why look any further, Iceburg has it all! ...."The brain, ride and temperament for an amateur", "the conformation, style and technique for a hunter" , "the power, scope and pedigree for a jumper", and the "the proven offspring and stamp of a great sire"

Iceburg has the scope, power, and technique required for a top level jumper, as well as the temperament, quality and style needed to suit the demanding North American hunter market. He has very successfully climbed the ranks as a competitive hunter and  has satisfied BWP Stallion performance requirements along the way, jumping up to the 3'9 level.  Evidence of Iceburg's quiet sensible demeanor, and rideability, is found in his long resume of Championships, up to the 3’9”  level, including several top finishes in Hunter Derby classes in QB and Eastern Canada.  Beauty, cadence, bravery, handiness, technique and scope make him a judges favorite.  Work ethic, rideability and ease of jumping at any level make him a rider favorite. Most recently, he was shown in the Adult Amateur division, where he was Champion or Reserve at all but one EC Gold show entered during 2018. Subsequently, he qualified for the prestigious Royal Winter Fair in Toronto where he placed very well in all classes including third in the Hunter Stake. In addition to his show career, Iceburg is concurrently used as a breeding stallion which is a true testament to his character. This stallion never disappoints and exceeds expectations in every way.

Iceburg is a great competitor, but an even better stallion. Much like his sire Escudo I, and great grandsire Voltaire, who are regularly listed among the USEF Leading Hunter Sires, Iceburg produces top young hunter prospects. He is approved by the BWP/NAD and has numerous futurity winners and top scoring foals.  Among some of the qualities that are consistently passed to offspring, are his trademark beautiful head, correct conformation, classic & careful technique over fences, and amateur-friendly disposition. He crosses well with various types of mares, providing substance to lighter mares, while adding refinement to heavier ones. Iceburg is also homozygous bay with the ability to produce black. His offspring are highly desirable due to their type, versatility and success as hunters, jumpers, event and dressage horses. Lamaze OBF, by Iceburg, was the 2011 North American top scoring BWP colt and has since become a highly successful hunter with numerous accomplishments including a win in the 2018 Canadian Hunter Derby, Blainville, QB. Lamaze OBF is but one ambassador to the quality offspring Iceburg has become known for.
